It's very sad to see the state of the ferrari... However, i'm happy to see that ppl who own these cars aren't just cleaning them. They are actually enjoying them. This joker might have taken it too far, but i hope he killed that SLR!!!

So the plot thickens.

A gun magazine has been found near the accident site. Investigations suspect that there was indeed someone else in the car. And the Enzo was doing 162 MPH when it hit a road bump, and due to its low ground clearance - became airborne!!

This and lots more : If anyone has the time, please go through the entire 60 page thread and give us a summary : Ferrari Chat Linky on Enzo Crash

Dont have to look hard

Summary.
Swedish millionare is owner, claims to be passenger with an aquantance driving whom he know as deitrich. Both ran out of the car after crash. the car was doing 200MPH+ lost control, hit a power pole which sliced through, Car apparantly racing with a Merc SLR.
"It took out the pole, and part of the car went another 600 feet," Sheriff's Sgt. Philip Brooks said. "There were 1,200 feet of debris out there."

the hunt for SLR driver is on. Erikson was drunk but he was a passenger so thats okay. As for the driver he ran away, or he was a ghost. Its funny the owner gave the car to an aquantaince whom he hardly knew.

That's one horrendous crash !!
The passenger sections seems to be miraculously intact.
The occupants must be having a really big influence in heaven.
Or maybe they did not want them up there

Apparently the Ferrari company in Italy told Brooks it could fix the broken red Ferrari for a mere $200,000 to $300,000 !!

(kinda)

But heres another one....i have no information about it though.

Look at how the passenger compartment is ruined in this crash! Just goes to show how all the praise for the enzo's great safety doesnt really mean anything. Its a roll of the dice when it comes to accidents at such speeds.

This is really sad. Only a few Enzos on the road and they crash due to overconfidence on these machines. May their soul rest in peace.

Actually, (i dont know about the pic i posted) but in the Erikson crash, its a VERY VERY straight road!. Doing 200mph just isnt safe nomatter where you do it, and especially if the road has bumps (& poles!)
