Re: How NOT to wash your Merc!

Wow, thats some way of keeping your CLS clean. Is CLS waterproof enough?

Is this being done at a professional workshop or a DIY thing?

Re: How NOT to wash your Merc!

I used to see something similar being done at service to Amby's and FIATs (could have been Premier ...) in the late 70's or early 80's. Even then they refrained from hosing the dash. These cars all had rexine sides and seats.

Re: How NOT to wash your Merc!

Oh My God!!!

Looks like the guy washing the Merc is upset with the owner of the car. The leather seats will be destroyed, so will the electronics of the car. That is a definite no-no.

The car is clean for sure. Maybe if he was lucky, there wouldn't have been any problem to the car.

Re: How NOT to wash your Merc!

The Gusto and relish with which he is doing it is as if he is taking out all his pent up frustration on the POOR Merc's Driver. Im sure he must have had a pretty WET drive after that.
Though I wouldn't wish that done to any car- they have heart's too.

Re: How NOT to wash your Merc!

I think that he is not deliberately damaging the car. He plainly looks stupid to me who thinks that this is an awesome idea to make the car clean as new.

Re: How NOT to wash your Merc!

May be he is a murderer and is trying to remove all the blood from the seats.

the speakers in the doors are wasted for sure. Does merc honour warranty in such cases, technically he is just washing the car.
