Additional points:

1) Interesting to note that amongst the valuable top 10 brands, none of the mass-market brands is doing particularly well in India, neither Toyota, VW. Ford or Honda.
2) The Koreans are still not perceived to be valuable or "strong" enough.

Most Popular car bands in every country:

-Toyota is comfortably the most popular international manufacturer outright, with the Japanese brand registering as the best seller in 44 of the 110 countries surveyed.

- Syria, Austria has the world’s most diverse car market, and almost every vehicle in Yemen wears a Toyota badge

- There is no nation in which Audi is the overall best selling brand, its E-Tron electric SUV impressively remains the most popular standalone model in Norway.

-The world’s three most popular models (by number of countries in which they were the best-selling cars in 2020) were all Toyotas.

- The Toyota HiLux was the most popular car in 14 countries, while the Toyota Corolla and Toyota LandCruiser are both the most popular model in six countries.

According to the financial results of the major carmakers in 2020, the operating profits generated by one Ferrari sold equal the profits generated by 24 Tesla’s. In other words, Tesla has to sell 24 cars in order to earn the same money made by 1 Ferrari sold.

There’s nothing like Ferrari in terms of profitability. It’s by far the most profitable OEM with a margin of 21% in 2020! A mix of state-of-the-art products, impeccable marketing, waiting lists that go up to 5 years for the one-off models, explain this success
