I must say it is an absolute stunner, and if not the greatest engine in the world then most probably the loudest. However:
1.) 250kph is pretty lame for a car of this spec don't you think?
2.) "11.6 liters now required to travel 100km" -:Shockked: that's the same mileage as a 1.6 petrol, have they been testing it at 1500rpm in 4th gear??

Think its 300kmph, not 250kmph.
And like the ICE part too :)
My god. V12 turbo. Just hearing this makes me happy. The current BMW 7 Series has the V12 turbo, and i think Mercedes has done a better job with this SL. Totally different cars i know, but just when you think of this SL, only the BMW V12 which is in the luxo barge 7 series comes to mind.
Thats a wicked machine there. 0-100 in like 4 seconds and electronically limited to speed limit of 250 Kms/Hr, and all this while giving fuel efficiency of 11.6L for 100 Kms (Which is not too far from my Civic, which gives ~7.5L for 100 Kms).
At ~2,50,000 Euros it will cost ~1.5Cr when it lands in India (maybe more). Any idea what number this car does in terms of yearly sales in India?

At least 3.50 Cr OTR that too for a factory spec. You try to load it with 90% options, you will be looking at 4 CR OTR in India.
