Fiat Viaggio for China

These are the first couple of images of the whole car, released by the automaker ahead of the sedan’s debut at the Auto China 2012 otherwise known as the Beijing Auto Show.

The first thing we noticed is that wile the changes aren’t radical from, it’s enough to make this a Fiat. The taillights are not connected, the fog lights are different and so is the fascia.

We don’t think Fiat would bother to do this if they weren’t going to bring it to Europe, but it might overlap with the new Alfa sedan.

The Viaggio will for now only be produced in China with Fiat’s new local assembly partner GAC. It will hit the market in the third quarter, powered by a 1.4L T-Jet with either 120 or 150 hp.

I loved the styling.

Though the headlights resemble that from the Verna Fluidic, the overall silhouette is European. Love the creases on the bonnet, the tail lamps and even the alloys.

Super awesome to look. I love the design. This has a combination of subtle curves and also has muscle to it. Good job.

Any chance it might hit our shores? I am just keeping my fingers crossed. If it comes, then it will serve as a good companion to my T-Jet.

Oozes Italian style!!!

Looks amazing. I am not sure if Fiat will bring it to India. I will be pleased to see this car in India.

It could be Parallax error, but to me it looks as if the rear wheels and front wheels are of two different sizes (Rear - 15/16 inches, Front 14/15 inches).

Love it.. simple and subtle yet beautiful! Cannot beat the Italians when it comes to styling. The rear reminds me vaguely of the New Ford Fiesta though especially the tail lamps.

I hope Fiat re-designs the interiors. The one in Dodge Dart does not suite Fiat!!

Just saw this video on the car! What a beauty!

Hope this one comes to India. It 'has' to come to India IMO. FIAT needs to be future product launches to get people to open new showrooms.

Not up to the lofty FIAT design standards.
I mean take a look at Linea and Punto.
