Yes, , per the news, toyota would be having some plans in increasing the power in the last quarter of 2014..
I think only the design is new, and I wish of some interior upgrades and security features give an value add.. If it was me, the pricing would be another deciding factor..Price Vs Package matrix helps..

The all new Toyota Corolla 2014 has been revealed. Based on the Furia concept, the car is now targeting the youth brigade with more aggressive looks as compared to earlier generation matured look. I personally believe they should also fit a more aggressive engine and the only grouch with Corolla was that it was a tad underpowered.

I didn't notice it till you mentioned, you're spot on! I was going to say they made it to take the Civic head on with this youthful appearance but perhaps one of the Hyundais : P.

I really do like this new design, so much better than the older one. Especially the interiors. I wonder if they will retain the increased GC when it comes to India. I know many who stated they simply chose the Corolla over the Civic because of low GC on the Honda.

Looks trendy and catchy, as the Civic gone out of the market, I guess this will catch the market for people who wants a sleek looking car.

I was little apprehensive about the looks of the on-going Corolla, the looks were confused between classy and trendy, The first gen (india's first gen) Corolla though looks clean and classy.

T and H badge stands for reliability, so people will go for this.

I feel that this car deviates from it's long lineage in terms of design. The edgy look is something Toyota has avoided in the Corolla in order to keep everyone happy (or rather everyone not unhappy) . Guess this a first of many to come from the Toyota stable with that look!

If it weren't for the T badge, someone could mistake this for an all-new Civic! I mean, that's how close to the (American) Civic's design the Corolla now looks. But of course that is not necessarily a bad thing. The Civic garnered much admiration when it was launched mainly for its design and it is still a favorite with the mod community.

The all-new Corolla with its sleek lines and aggressive stance is a far cry from what we've seen Toyota designs in the past. This will be instant hit with the younger crowd. Toyota couldn't bring this at a better time - the Civic is no more available off the shelves, but this new-gen Corolla will happily fill the void!

On a second note, Renault's logo would perfectly fit in Toyota's logo and would look pure breed of Renault . Just saying!!!

I just love the old camry back bumper design on this new corolla. Wish Toyota provides us a more powerful diesel and features to take on the likes of the new octavia, jetta etc.
