Lovely car really.

Looks more contemporary than its VW sibling.

DO you have any idea when they are going to launch it in India ? And under what badge name would it be launched ? Rapid itself ?

No idea about the launch in India dates wise.

I did have a chat with the people at Skoda and they did say it would be launched soon. I am assuming it would be launched after the new Octavia releases!

I would be inline to buy just for its looks!

Thanks for the reply. Do you have any pics and price details of the new Octavia ? i had one in 2004-05 period and the car felt solid through out its use. I loved that car even though back seat travel on long journeys were hell on earth.

No idea bout the pricing of the New Octavia. I can find that out though. The pricing and spec sheet in Sweden is as below.

Looks expensive from the sheet!

Hi there Rapid Fans and Enthusiasts,

I have been digging deep on the internet regarding launch of Skoda Rapid Euro-Spec, but I haven't found any credible source that confirms it.

Please share your thoughts & views on when do you think Euro-speced rapid will come to India. I have been longing for that car for 3 years. Settling on any other car seems like a compromise.

Please help.
