This had been on my mind ever since I learnt of the F1 kept on permanent display in London to see this icon in the flesh at least once.
Unfortunate that it was auctioned.
However, i was in Brighton for some time and the missus wanted to go shopping in London, and I told her to go ahead, while I did this:

A morning VERY well spent....:)

A few weeks back I saw an orange MP4-12C on display at Zurich airport. Didn't look very striking, almost a bit... bland. Really nothing compared to the sense of occasion that every Bull or Horse brings with it. very clinical, very technical, very performance-oriented. And unexciting, I guess.

Orange has been done to death now.
Every feature on the MP4 has been with the orange one.

But this one in black, it looks absolutely menacing, not the kitchen-knifey looks coming out of Italy.
On the road, hardly any noise till the guy was in between lights.
but when he joined the open road, I could hear it literally for minutes after.

Just wish the F1 was still there....

sorry about the repeated angles, but there's not a lot many places to get shots.
In fact, he let me in only after I explained that I am such a big MCL nut that my venture abbreviates to the same...:D

In Hyde Park, the Aston Martin showroom and the Roll's Royce showroom is also present, right? Btw did you check out the parking lot of The Dorchester? There always seems to be some exotic or the other parked there. The last time I visited Hyde Park, I distinctly remember seeing a Ferrari 599 GTB parked there!

Didn't know that.
But hey, there are RRs,ferraris,and Astons to be seen in India, quite a few of them.
My take was a McLaren would not have many, if any, takers here.
The hotel I missed.. .:(
