That's a lot of personalization options in a very small car, of course the cooper and the 500 do offer. But for our standards, it wil be really cool to have such a cute car. Ladies especially might develop a sweet spot for it.

Chevrolet Beat: 20 12 PAS

2012 PAS: Facelifted Chevy Spark, now revealed

KEYPOINTS:
  • American Spec Spark, now confirmed to be facelift of Beat
  • No Mechanical Changes
  • Redesigned Front, Rear(along with much nicer lights), Side Skirt
  • Addition of Chevrolet MyLink Infotainment System

Some Observations From the Pictures:
The digital display in the central dash goes missing. Conventional knobs have been placed. Does this mean removal of ACC?? GM you got to be kidding.

Outback, the tail lamps are less sound and thus dissolving "aftermarket" look of current ones.

IMO, Chevy needs to update it's Indian Beat so as to keep it fresh. The current one was out in Q1 of 2010.

Re: Reporting from Paris : The Jaguar F-Type Roadster & 4th Gen Range Rover

In the following posts will be sharing a few pictures from each important/popular manafacturer even though i didnt have the time to visit each and every stall.

But, here you go, let's start with the king of luxury cars ; Rolls Royce

There was the Phantom and Drophead Coupe presented as part of their Art Deco Theme

In flesh, the Drop Dead coupe is the most magnificient and ultimate in luxury. If there is a luxury car that symbolizes success; this is the one

Re: Reporting from Paris : The Jaguar F-Type Roadster & 4th Gen Range Rover

Moving on to another luxury automaker where their awesome models were glistening like gold at their stall. However, the space that they were displayed in was rather cramped ( compared to the RR stall)

I noticed most of the prominent manafacturers were proudly displaying their engines which was really exciting to see in flesh as you can get a good feel of it's architecture, weight, material used etc.

This post is dedicated to another bench-markers of luxury; Bentley Motors

Flying Spur, Mulsanne, GTSpeed and the super hot looking Continental GT3 were on display.

Re: Paris Motor Show - 2012!

Living just 7 stops away from the venue, I still had to wait till the 29th. Was pretty disappointed with the outcome. The McLaren P1 was the only star at the show, supercar wise. Design wise, everybody from Jaguar to Lamborghini were flawed IMO. The new LP560's rear looks like this without the 'please board'. A sad smiley. And the new F Type looks like the love child of the SLS AMG and the BMW Z8. Bentley did well with the Continental GT3, and the GT Speed W12. Rolls Royce continued it's lofty, bespoke standards, but the new Phantom family doesn't look as regal as the outgoing model. Ferrari had the shell of the F70 on display, but so deep in the stand that most missed it.

Before those inclined to say nice things about these brands in any way spit venom, this is just my opinion

I didnt know that but, when we popped that question he but, obvious looked a bit uncomfortable and very nicely answered the question evading the reference to evoque and then it clicked to me it could be that ( a healthy rivalry, which isnt bad at all)

Btw, our meetings with them was 1-1 ( Ian and us, Gerry and us etc..)

Moving on to the next in line, The 2013 Gallardo LP560-4 Coupe and Spyder were displayed at the show and as you can see the front looks quite different from the current one and has those unqiue triangular shape for the front giving it a meaner look.

That lovely blue color looked very fresh for the baby Lambo and I dont recall seeing this color on it before. The yellow looked alright but, I like yellow only on LP-640 with it's super wide body.

Lamborghini stall and the maximum rush and people were just not moving out.

No prizes for guessing why

Mobike where is your camera pointing? Well, never a competition to Italians in producing beauties!

There is no match to a Monica Bellucci(italian ladies in general!!) or the italian car designs! Both are inseperable! Oopss!! I am going to get banned now!
