The All New UGLY 3 series Coupe as 335i PICS Inside..

I saw it on another forum so will post the link directly, there is too much info and too many pic of this new ugly creation...

i dont get it...the 7 was such a big improvmet. Then came the 6, which was good, then the 5 which was so so, then the 3 sedan was not bad, but now the coupe is just gone ahead and ruined it..not cuz i would ever want a 3 series coupe(there is G coupe, tons better)...but this means that the M3 is ruined for the next 4-5 odd years...oh i hate this..anyhow here it is..

Even the scenic background isnt helping...

BMW has totaly gone the wrong route..whoever fired bangle is a moron, bagle created the best looking cars in the history..the 7 and the 6, the 5 was half way bangle design...what people didnt realise was that even though bangle got criticism for his design, the sales were at their peek...oh well wrong decission on BMWs part..look at MB, they are going in perfect direction..

Front is OK, but the back looks like a Toyota Avalon from the 90s. Totally boring with a capital B. I'll take the sedan anyday.

The twin turbo engine sounds delicious though!

yeah i agree..but in no time that delicious engine will become just another engine..as is the IS350 has a great engine there, the refreshment that will come with the IS coupe will have a nicer engine in it...and then there is the all new G coupe coming next spring..oh boy...I guess BMW needs to give way to the better desgined and more powerful japanese kings...the G and sort of the IS..

Hey 1day, Bangle is still around. In fact he is promoted to the VP of whole design group. The guy who took bangle's job is Adrian Van Hoydoonk (the guy who actually penned the 7)

I think it looks pretty good. I like the way the surfacing has been used. Wait and see, you guys will go ga-ga over the new M3, I cant wait to see this bodyw ith flared wheelarches and big wheels. Yipeee..........

One gripe is that the rear lgihts should have been sharper-edged. They end up looking a bit like 90's Korean cars.

But otherwise, its good. Not drop-dead gorgeous, but good.

I really dont see anything wrong with this car's design. By the way, these pics are the same as the one shown on Top Gear, when Clarkson critisizes the new 3 series styling. Hmmm... Interesting.

That is a BEAUTY with all letters in caps! I love the design and it looks more aerodynamic...
I get a hint of 6 series design in the new 3 series coupe...
check it out over here...

And frankly I respect 1day's personal openion but me being a Beemer fan I think the title of this thread should be changed to "All new 3 series coupe" and not impose that its "ugly"... let the members decide if its ugly or not

I really like it... It looks much better than the previous 3 series... The front looks really good but the rear could've been a little better...
