Ok everyone...

Given that there is justice for all in this world and you are offered the dream job of being the test driver for road cars, to one car company which is the one marque you would choose to be a test driver at??

For me its difficult to choose between Ferrari and Lamborghini but then in the end it would be Ferrari and the Bull would come a close second..

Dippy

P.S Dreamin too much aint I?

Hey Dippy,

Nice topic! We've all wanted this dream job haven't we, especially after watching the JC Italy Special where he interviews the Ferrari, Lamborghini and Bugatti test drivers. Awesome!

While my first instinct would be to choose Ferrari, after some thinking I decided that BMW would be where I would most like to be. While it may not have the aura of Ferrari, nor would I drive the most exotic cars, what it does provide is a variety of vehicles.

Imagine, one day you're in the M3 CSL tackling the twisties in the Alps, the next in death valley doing hot weather testing in the 740iL followed by a week testing the X5 in the backroads and slush of the UK. If you're nice to the boss, maybe he'll let you onto the track in one of their many sports cars, and for that Christmas bonus, a test in a BMW Williams!

Hey, we are dreaming here right.

Ferrari's and Lambo's. Either one wouldn't be bad.

I'd have a hard time deciding between Ferrari and Hummer! Testing a Ferrari on the track sounds delicious...but so does gauging the Hummer's capabilities off the road.

Decisions...decisions...

#1 Jaguar
#2 Aston Martin
#3 Porsche
#4 Ferrari
#5 TVR

Given a choice, these are the marques I would choose. I really don't care much about any other ones.

in india it wud be for the volvo bus.
outside india for the hummer.
the volvo bus is soooo well built that when the journey ends u feel sad that ur destination has arrived .the bus driver seems to be playing around the roads.
i always make it a point to get a seat on the left side just behind the driver.
and am always awake when i a volvo.
wud definitely drive one .as i have got a heavy vehicle licence recently.i never miss any oppourtunity to drive a truck.be it a 407 or the comet, tusker anything.
even reversing any vehicle gives me a high.

i think instead of buying expensive cars the best way of saying u have arrived is buy a red volvo fh16 truck without the trailerand then fit a free flow.it costs as much as a merc and everyone wud make way for u on the road.
