Nissan versa Owns Yaaris.

When the FJ cruiser came out There was the Nissan xterra but the new look came later on. And I just love the 2 door concept on this one.Its a tought fight between the two here.

hence I said I like FJ cruiser.

Reviving an old thread… FJ Cruiser might not be there after 2014.

Toyota plans to stop production of FJ Cruiser after 2014.

I guess they announced this in Nov-2013. There are a lot of online news article in that month sharing this news. One Sample: Link

“Toyota says the 2014 Trail Teams Ultimate Edition will be the toughest and most capable FJ ever and pays a fitting tribute to the DNA of the iconic vehicle that has delivered countless millions of miles of serious off-road and real world trailblazing satisfaction for serious off-roaders around the world.

The Trail Teams Ultimate Edition will be a limited production and only 2,500 will be built.”

Interestingly, I haven’t heard about any reports about a potential FJ Cruiser replacement, so mostly a refreshed FJ would take its place. I don’t see them leaving the ‘fun-off-roader’ category open.

The new 4Runner Trail edition should be available for few more years , that's the closest

I was impressed with gadgetry - all those 4x4 mode buttons on Roof .. and a tray that comes out from back
