One question: Why are the number plates in different colours and with different systems of numbering? For eg., the Jeep is GLTA and there was some other car with just VV. Some had black plates , some yellow and a couple of whites.

"plates in Karachi are yellow and elsewhere are black
Islamabad has white plates and Lahore has white and green"

A lovely collection of cars . Thanks again for introducing us to the drives on the other side of the border. I've been drooling over the mustangs (pic9 in post#1, 2nd pic in post#8), classic Mercs and the Chevy (Pic 2 and 7 in post#1) - my goodness its such a beauty.

The xenon head lights on chevy (in pic 2 - post#1) looks really nice IMHO.

I've seen two custom cars (one resembling an atom pic1 in post#18) and one more - pic2 in post #23. Would love to know more about the custom car scene in Pak, can you please share some more pics and info.

Used car imports are allowed in Pakistan right? That's how I guess you have so many Cadillacs, Buicks and Chevrolets. Any idea what the owners do when its time to service the cars?

These beauties were imported when they were build in the respected years, not in rescent years. ( I mean Chevrolet was imported in 1957 not today )

I think most of the parts can be procured from different countries
