300SL Gullwing Coming Back!!

Mercedes Benz is planning to build a latter day version of the legendary 300SL, according to an article in Auto Bild! It will reportedly sit in between the SLK and CL/SL. Great move, I say.

It looks good, but not resolved enough to qualify as the modern-day 300SL. But this is just a rendering, a the real thing might look very diffrent.

Hmm...it is a good idea, or rather, would have been a good idea if the SL65 and SLR hadnt existed.

Why do Mercedes want to keep adding product after product to their aldready huge model lineup instead of increasing their quality and getting it back up to the standards they set in the yesteryears? It really is stupid.

I agree. Just look at the number of coupes alone they will have in their lineup.

I agree it would be stupid, but from the point of view of a ogler and enthusiast it would be awesome and as it is they were planning on making a P1 to compete with gallardo and F430, y not have this do it for that...that would be just phenominal...
