This will be one cracker of a machine. This along with the new C can definitely make the market interesting. I find it funny how the headlamp on this car flows into the grille just like the car it is supposed to rival. Taking competition a bit to seriously, perhaps.

The V6 powered variant could be the XE-R. Which would go up against the M3 / M4. It would be interesting to see a supercharged V6 of the XE-R vs a turbocharged I6.

Jaguar has the style advantage and so called 'classy' image to take advantage of, instead of resorting to such publicity gimmicks.
Audi had to resort to such adverts and product placements to grab the public eye, but Jaguar doesn't have to.
Nevertheless, waiting for the XE to be launched.

XE campaign starts with this;



British artist Emeli Sande will work on a special song inspired by the emotions of both Jaguar and Great Britain.

The performance will take place at a secret location on the banks of the river Thames and will culminate in the reveal of the new sedan model.

Looks stunning!! Much better than some of the renderings I've seen online. Waiting for the unveiling. Give a great interior(something similar to the f-type), and a reasonable price tag and Jag certainly has a winner in their hands.

A relief to see the interiors being refreshed. Was afraid Jag would go with the XF's interior theme. Not that it is anything to complain about,but it's still a bit spartan compared to the rest of the competition(except for the awesome Jaguar handshake). Would've loved to see the F-type inspired AC vents in there though

On the other hand,all these segment first tech do raise some questions about XE's pricing. Yet to be seen whether all these will be available in India-spec model, and how much of a premium Jag will command,but the sports sedan segment is bound to move further up the price chain :(

IMO, Jag shouldn't get too carried away and remember that they're going against a legendary product. Pricing should be bang on if they have to steer customers towards their product.
