Lamborghini has officially unveiled the roadster version of their Veneno supercar.



Power is provided by the same 6.5-liter V12 engine found in the Veneno coupe, which means the roadster will have 750 horsepower at its disposal. Sent to the four wheels via an ISR transmission, it enable the roadster to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 355 km/h (220 mph).

The Veneno Roadster sits on a carbon fiber reinforced polymer monocoque with all exterior parts made from CFRP. Inside, the carbon fiber theme continues with two lightweight Forged Composite bucket seats and CarbonSkin all around. The result is a curb weight of only 1,490 kg (3,278 lbs) which means a power-to-weight ration of 1.99 kg/HP.

Production of the Lamborghini Veneno Roadster will begin next year.

US-based Indian, Kris Singh's Lamborghini Veneno was delivered last day.

This is the second one to be delivered, the one with green accents, first was red and the third and final would be white (Italian tricolor).

Another cool bit of info about this picture: The color on the 50th is the only roadster as of now to be painted in it. Its called Verde Singh and was made by Lamborghini as a gift to honor one of their best and most passionate customers! Lamborghini thought that he would want to keep the paint color exclusively for his cars,but the owner is such a passionate ambassador of the brand he said he wanted the color to be available for any person ordering a new Lamborghini to be able to request the color for their car as well!
