Meet Veneno (which translates as poison), the £3.1 million 50th anniversary gift from Lamborghini.

The car is like the Sesto Elemento version of the Aventador and churns out 740bhp (a tad too F12ish) and only 3 will ever be made.

Going by the hypercar tradition, all 3 have already been sold and is expected to be in red, while and green (Italiano!).

I think Lambo just stole Ferrari's F150 thunder

What they have done to the beautiful Aventador, it looks like a tuners car. Stock Aventador looks much better than this.

Was this designed with "Batman" in their minds? I can almost instantaneously relate the Veneno to a Batmobile!

Everything looks deadly but the drooping headlights.

Ouuchh! Got a cut just by looking at the pictures
So sharp and edgy, I mean I hardly found any "curves"; its all razor-sharp design.
I liked the rear but the headlights seem to be trying quite too hard to blend into the car.
It doesn't excite me as much as a "new Lamborghini launch" should.

It looks hideous and naive in design imo. I am also inclined to think this is not a production ready car, it just looks too concept car'ish. I would take a normal aventador over this, thank you.

As I'd said in the opening post, this is not a mass production car like the Aventador, but neither is it a one off concept like the Sesto Elemento.

Only three will ever be made and those three are already sold too.

Yes, I read that. I meant to say that maybe, the final car might look a bit different in production form.
Anyway, happy 50th birthday to lambo..from the miura to the countach and then the diablo, murcielago and aventador, its been a madly exciting journey...Hope that they keep that maniacal side intact, thats what makes a lambo. For finesse ,elegance and track pedigree, we have ferrari already!

However why just limit it to 3 ??

For a limited edition to have exclusivity there should be enough numbers in the first place to make people aware of the model. In this case most people will not know of any such edition. Get the drift ??

I know im stretching it, but if one lands in India, most will think its a modified Aventador.

I just hope Ferrari Enzo successor and P1 are just this good. What a way to raid their parade at Geneva Auto Show. Lambo must be enjoying this a lot.

I hate to say this, but, this is probably one the ugliest super-cars around. The front is just an awkward clutter of carbon fiber and metal which makes it look like a super-bike body fairing rather than a Lamborghini. The flair at the back is just extreme, but does make a little sense considering the niche.

To be frank the design looks cluttered and very concept car'ish as already stated.
IMHO, McLaren P1 is much better and appealing.

When i first saw the Veneno my thoughts instantly jumped to this; A 1997 concept designed by Italdesign for Alfa called the Scigera. The Veneno feels like a modern, edgier interpretation of this concept. Or am I the only one?
