Downloaded the first two episodes but am yet to watch it. From whatever I did see of the first episode, I found an overall improvement from season 19.

I think this season is going to be good. They have become funnier as they have grown older.

Loved the hot hatches. The Renault is quite funky. Especially the bits of changing the exhaust notes on the speaker system.

The BAC and the Ferrari portion (could have been longer) was good, but I honestly do not know the purpose of the BBC Complex tribute.
The race ofcourse, is scripted with lots of Topgear-sque liberties being taken.
I think TG is now falling into the "formula" trap , with the many bits now looking recycled. Crashing and exploding cars, Car VS man/public transport/boat/sled/etc , obscure guests who are there to plug their own show/movie/book/play.

C'mon guys, where are the "reviews" ? And the challenges ? And the tributes ? You know they dont have to be informative.. Thats not what Topgear is about. The scripted bits dont really work anymore.

Just watched Episode 3
That was like 1 million times better than the previous episodes.

Absolutely enjoyed the supercar test! Disagreed with the view of the trio in the end, but, what the hell. By god, that Audi is awesome, and this is the only Audi I'd say that for.

For all those who didn't like the first two, sincere request watch this. Please.

It's all forgiven. This, I would say, was the best of the three so far. Loved every bit of it. Classic TopGear!

The E3 is nice. . But the SIARPC was quite ordinary.

And I really wanted them to swap the cars in the supercar test.

Episode 3 was fantastic. Was really surprised to see the bottom of the 458 erode that way ! I wonder what the actual reason was.

Episode 3 was really good. Easily the best of this series. Loved the cars! But, what was most impressive and what will remain the main attraction of this episode will be Jeremy Clarkson's picture on his bicycle.

Best part was:

JC: Why do the Germans put the paint on in such a way that it doesn't then come off?

JM: Because they are (In German accent) Germans and it is impossible to paint a car badly.

Loved the 3rd Episode & it was TG doing the best they do. SIARPC was somehow not that great even though I had expected more with that actor.

On a side note, the situation that they showed in Spain was pretty sad.

Indeed!
This season is getting better and better each episode.
I didnt realise who the guest was till they mentioned the Sc-Fi film he was in, What a great actor he was in that role.
I also enjoyed the 'affordable' convertible supercar segment ; ).

Did it occur to anyone how the 458 actually healed it's dent miraculously later the same day?

No its not healed you can see the patching and I think James sprayed the Ferrari rossa paint there
Also when they were driving through the mountains the driver's faces were blurred. I'm wondering if they are really doing the challenge
