New Porsche 911 Variant spotted for the first time Porsche has already launched a big part of the different versions of the current 911 (991) generation, including the 911 Carrera, Carrera S, Carrera 4, Carrera 4S, Turbo, Turbo S and GT3.
Porsche is now testing a new 911 version on the Nürburgring and it is not a GT2, which we have seen testing already.
The prototype looks to be a new 911 model, that will sit between the Carrera 4S and the new Turbo.
It has no side air intakes like the Turbo, the rear bumper has some camouflage over the Turbo air intakes. The long exhausts and modified cooling system between the rear spoiler and rear window hint at some changes.
There are also something new planned for the wheel arches and updates for the front lip.
Performance wise it should have more power than the Carrera S/4S models (400bhp) and less than the Turbo, which packs 520bhp. |
