Re: 2014 Dacia Duster Facelift Revealed

Hi guys.
I have been looking for Duster face lift. Any body has an information about possible launch date?
Many forums (including Team Bhp) and news stated that India launch was in February, 2014. Its March now and still no news. Current Duster is on discount so I am sure the face lifted version launch is immeninent.

In current advertisment of Ranult Duster, an olive green colour is seen. It looks excellent IMO. Any idea of availability of this colour?

The age of the vehicle is starting to show up. The face lift is not going to do any wonders, Terrano is still the better looking of the two.

Strongly disagree.
The age may be starting to catch up, but the Terrano by no way looks better.

The duster has a certain amount of rawness and appeal in it, which a SUV should have, the Nissan just cannot match.

And it still is among the best looking made in india SUVs after the XUV5oo and perhaps the Storme.

Looks are subjective, buy myself also will choose Duster over Terrano any day. Duster has the raw/rugged look of SUV. I wish the next version of Duster with better interior comes by this year (instead of any exterior change). The interior needs better plastics and finish (not adding gadgets).

The front end of the Terrano is terrific, the duster on the other hand looks old, with that drooping front grill.

As written above, looks are a matter of individual preference.

Dacia Duster receives new 1.6-liter Euro 6 engine.

The naturally aspirated mill develops 10 PS more than its predecessor at 5,500 rpm for a total output of 115 PS (85 kW). It also has an extra 8 Nm (6 lb-ft) of torque – now 156 Nm (116 lb-ft) at 4,000rpm.

Equipped with this 1.6 engine, the Duster 4x2 runs from 0 to 100 km/h (0-62mph) in 11.0 seconds, while the 4x4 model needs 12.0 seconds.
