Probably meant 90 kW not hp? So that's 121 hp.

Audi Confirms New A4, Q1, Q5 And Q8 !

Audi will bring its babay SUV /(CUV) to its lineup, the sub-compact Q1 positioned as a premium alternative to the Nissan Juke, sitting right under the existing Q3.
Audi's Q1 will be the new entry-level model of SUV's and will round out the portfolio at the bottom end as of 2016.

The brand with the four-rings said that in the next five years, it will expand its product portfolio from the present 52 to over than 60 models

2016 Audi Q1 Test Mule being tested but hides under Volkswagen Tiguan disguise.





The wheelbase is slightly shorter, and the wheels sit further inside the arches than they are supposed to, suggesting it to be a test mule of Q1 - compact SUV, a Nissan Juke rival.

The Q1 is expected to be unveiled in 2016 and will be based on the MQB platform instead of the older Polo platform that is also used by the A1 hatch. However, both cars will share the latest generation of downsized petrol and diesel engines

And people will still lap it up @ 30L if it carries the right badge.

Please note this is not the look of the Q1, only the platform is being for the power train and components. This is a test mule in the guise of Tiguan.
Q1 will follow the Audi design language in styling.

TheQ1 won’t use a jacked-up A1 platform, but be based around the smallest configuration of the VW Group’s scalable MQB architecture – the same underpinnings that are being lined up for the next-generation VW Polo and Audi A1.

Although tightly wrapped in the obligatory swirly camouflage, there are plenty of clues to the Q1’s final form. Up front an interpretation of the new Q7’s 3D grille and sharp LED headlights can be seen bulging under the black and white wrap. The profile is clean and uncluttered, much like the new A4, while the wraparound taillights and neat twin exhaust is a nod to the A1.

Audi Q1, as well as its equivalent of Volkswagen (T-ROC), will have more than 4.2 meters long and will position well below the Audi Q3. The engine will be the EA211 1.0 TFSI 115 hp, the 1.4 TFSI 150 hp and finally the 1.8 TFSI with 180 hp.

Diesel versions 1.4 TDI (three-cylinder) with 90 hp 1.6 TDI and 115 hp 2.0 TDI with 150 hp or 184 should be available in the Audi Q1, which eventually will also have a version with all-wheel drive Quattro.

The car Audi named "Q1", is now reportedly going to be called the Q2. The car will show up at Geneva in 2016 as a production model.

For now, it’s also been caught testing at the Nurburgring.

Audi’s upcoming SUV set to slot in below the Q3 is nearing production. Once believed to be called Q1, the new small crossover is said now to be called Q2.

Fast forward to Frankfurt, where Indian Autos Blog inquired about the Q1 with Audi R&D boss Dr. Ulrich Hackenberg. Hackenberg corrected him, referring to the crossover as Q2. Though not confirmed by either Audi or Alfa Romeo, it would appear from that comment by Hackenberg that the Q2 badge is now in Audi’s hands, and one might also assume the Q4 badge as well.

2017 Audi Q2 Begins Winter Testing with FWD and AWD. Launch could be early 2016.

A baby crossover that's smaller than the Q3. It has a longer front end than most of its competitors because of the restrictions imposed by the platform.

Being based on the MQB platform, this car has access to some advanced engines.Will see lots of 2.0-liter diesels that may even match the Bavarian outputs: 150 and 190 PS. Rumors have it the SQ2 will even pack a BiTDI with 240 PS, but that's still speculative.

A baby SUV from Audi? (without AWD? the same Audi of Quattro & multi-Torsen fame) How the mighty have fallen! Sad, but when you've been taking the rest of the world for a ride with a dedicated emissions swindle - its no excuse that others were doing the same, since VW-Audi was an icon while the rest were wannabes.

I'm a dedicated gearhead at heart, but eulogising a fraudster (on a planetary scale) or its products is something where I'll draw my own Lakshman Rekha.
