Dubai almost has everything under the sun, that are deemed to be impossible. Be it, the palm islands or the Ski range in the middle of the desert. Now, here is the latest addition to the playground for the rich and famous, the 'Gold Class' lane.

The ‘Gold Class’ lane is a member exclusive lane, which will connect Dubai to Abu Dhabi. This will be open for an exclusive member club for a set monthly fee, offering a full range of extras unavailable in the other lanes.

Gold Class drivers will be given an extra 10kmph top speed limit, newly laid top-of-the-range gold painted tarmac and discounts at various service stations. The whole lane will also be an extra 50cm wide, and will be cordoned off from the other lanes with a red velvet rope.

While the price has yet to be revealed, organizers have said it would be set “disruptively high” in order to prevent the Gold Class lane from becoming overcrowded. Only owners of top-end car brands – a list of which will soon be released – can apply.
There will be manned 'bouncer' cars on the route to prevent unauthorized cars from entering the exclusive road.
