There are rumors that they will bring few GTE's to India ( the Hybrids).

Volkswagen claims an electric range of up to 50km at speeds up to 130kph in the default E-mode. In the GTE mode, the efforts of the petrol and electric motor are pooled to provide a claimed 0-100 kph time of around 7.5 seconds; hence the performance-based moniker of GTE. Aint this interesting?

VW brings the Passat with the 'Passat GT' concept unveiled at the LA motor show.

Quote:

VW says the Passat GT concept has more than 20 design changes from the standard Passat midsize sedan, including a suspension that’s been lowered by 0.6 inch and a unique grille, fascia and other accents.

Under the hood is the same 280 hp, 3.6-liter V-6 engine used in the 2017 Passat.
