Called up Bimal Motors this evening but they had no clue about the pricing in Bangalore. Any idea of on-road prices in Bangalore?

The official website does not show any pricing information - the webpage seems to be down.

I checked with the local dealer in Pune, they have a dealer launch today hence the local pricing for the Celerio will be released today.

For most cars the ex-showroom pricing between Delhi and other Cities varies from 5 to 10 thousand.

Spotted a Celerio TD car near Kaiveli, just after the Popular Maruti showroom at Velachery. The car looked good, external look-wise. They could have chosen a better name though.

Re: Suzuki unveils A-Wind Concept (aka Celerio), an all-new hatchback in Thailand

Saw the car in Pune showroom. Feels a step above Alto800/k10. Boot space is large. The elbow space for driver is good. Rear is for 2 people only. As usual typical Maruti thin doors and body, and thin steering.

I think it will do really good in market, as it straightaway doubles or triples the number of users. I know many houses where only 1 person can drive a car, and rest of the family is totally dependent on that person. With this 5L auto car, now many people who could not grasp the gears can now drive easily.

The price for LXI was 5.02L on road and for VXI was 5.30L or 5.40L (forgot). Current waiting period is 1 month. The A-star VXI ABS is for 5.65L.

The salesperson was damn sure that both LXI and VXI has ABS, and I didn't try much to change his notion. I think for an auto, one should go for Celerio if budget is tight, and for Astar VXI abs if he can spend more. But I think soon we will witness lots of Celerio VXIs on road with persons with no stick experience. Maruti sure has ticked right boxes this time.

Couldn't test drive, as it was just arrived at the showroom and lots of people were checking it out. Waiting for team bhp's review.

Thank you! With the steering mounted audio controls, it seems to be pic of ZXi.

Yes, what you see in the previous pic is that of a ZXI.
AMT not offered in ZXI.
Got a chance to TD the car today.
It's another tin box from Maruti. Typical levels of build/plastic quality, maybe a notch better than the A-star, but again nothing great.
Uninspiring rear; just a step up from the Alto-800, in terms of looks.
The positive bit is definitely the AMT. Drove well enough. Also got a chance to do a small mileage test in sparse traffic and it returns close to 17kmpl.

My take is, if you require a car for 100% city driving and don't want to be bothered with gears, then this is the one.

Apart from that one positive, there is nothing much to say about this car.
