As confirmed in the press release, the new Skoda Superb will make its world premiere in Prague in the middle of February 2015. Its introduction at the Geneva motor show will follow in March. The market launch is planned for mid-2015.

Skoda has released official images of the 2015 Superb's interior. The new interior images show the Superb with chocolate brown interior leather upholstery, seats with large flanks for lateral thigh support, door panels with integrated grab handles, a similar steering wheel as the current Superb and restyled AC vents.

This is the 3rd generation Superb after the B5 (2001) and B6 (2009+facelifted in 2013). The car directly jumps to the new Passat's B8 platform. The Superb name has sold over 7 lakh units since it first arrived. Skoda chairman Prof Dr Winfried Vahland hopes the new model will top that number by itself. The saloon gets a 20 mm increase in length, 50 mm increase in width, 80 mm increase in wheelbase and a 625/1760 litre boot (seats up/seats down), which is 60 litres more than the current Superb.

Is Skoda taking the "family look" thing to the interior as well? The interior looks quite similar to that of the Octavia L&K version, even the color scheme.

Guess VW wants to safeguard their premiumness in the group hierarchy by denying Skoda some of the futuristic elements that was seen in the new Passat. The LED panel instrument cluster would've lifted up the interior quite a bit. Overall a pleasing design, but nothing new here. Guess Skoda will have to make do with that smashing exterior silhouette now.

I dont see a problem with the interiors as long as they provide what is there in the images. This already looks like it will take the segment by storm once again especially given the astronomical pricing of the so called "entry level" German luxury trio.

Come one Skoda bring this one soon and dont go crazy with the pricing!

Spacious he should be, the new Skoda Superb. We were allowed to sit in the Czech sedan sample before the world premiere, long before it ( 5 to 15 March 2015) is shown to the public at the Geneva Motor Show. And actually provides the Superb plenty of space , although the new flat precipitated as its predecessor. Thanks to the extended wheelbase of 2.84 meters themselves two-meter giant opportunity to relax in the rear of the Superb. Good work by the Skoda designers! Looks much more handsome and proportionate than the outgoing model. This may make it even more difficult for the next gen Passat.
