Spyshots and details have been leaked for the upcoming Chrysler 200 - Chrysler offering in the super competitive midsize segment - Can this car graduate from rental fleets to people's garages - left to be seen. The Dart has been a disappointment and the Avenger should long be dead. The Chrysler - Fiat group has no solid car in the compact - midsize segment at all. This could change it all, going by how well the Cherokee has been received in the market.

Say What ! 9 Speed Transmission ? What a good looking vehicle, I really like the Rear quarter panel for that Hunch down look. Hope this brings chrysler back into the game.

They have the 9 speed already on the Cherokee - not sure how the real world results have been with the 9 speed tranny. Jeep took a long time to get the programming done right on that one.

Yup, very true - that is low by the Mazda/Nissan/Honda standards.

It should be definitely more than 35. The Mazda with a regular torque converter automatic gets near 40 mpg!

It is a very crowded target market, you need something to stand out to catch the attention of buyers.
