The next Audi TT will have fully configurable LCD Instrument Panel when it lands in showrooms later this year.

At CES Audi showed off a full-sized mockup of the TT’s new interior, and the crown jewel is a 12.3-inch LCD screen behind the steering wheel that can toggle between a traditional tachometer and speedometer and a massive map with infotainment and navigation displays flanked by small virtual gauges.



Inputs are handled through Audi’s next-generation Multi-Media Interface control knob mounted behind the stick. It has fewer buttons but gets the latest iteration of Audi’s touchpad that allows you to write characters with your finger rather than endlessly scrolling through the alphabet.

The other notable bit is the removal of the traditional climate controls in the center console. Instead, the driver and passenger can change the interior temperature by twisting a knurled metal knob in the center of the vents, complete with a TFT display showing the fan speed and air temp.

Hi all, If we refer to the reports by Auto Guide then The upcoming 2015 Audi TT will debut in a six weeks during the Geneva Motor Show, but for now the company is still hard at work putting it through cold weather tests.

During the Detroit Auto Show earlier this month, the brand previewed styling for the car and hinted at plans to build a crossover version through its All road Shooting Brake concept.

For the 2015 model year, it will move to Volkswagen Group’s MQB modular platform that also underpins the Audi A3 and Volkswagen Golf among others.

The normal TT is expected to have a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 220 hp compared to the current car’s 211.

The new TT's looks have already been released if not the car itself & from the looks of it, it appears to be much better than the above renders...atleast the front.

They have retained the rear and especially the profile to a large extent so its unmistakably recognized to be a TT with its iconic shape. But over all this should be a LOT better looking than the out going car and might not be much of a chick car in the TTS & TTRS guises.

Audi showcased a concept named Audi Allroad Shooting Brake which is basically nothing but a next gen TT moulded into a bigger butch shape. This is confirmed by the fact that the Allroad Shootingbrake that was showcased will not be making it to production. So the face,rear and even profile is a clear give away of how the TT will be.

Hi all, Here’s another look at the 2015 Audi TT. The upcoming next-generation coupe has shed most of its camouflage now. It has been bench-marked against the outgoing model and its closest rivals, the Peugeot RCZ and Mercedes-Benz SLK.

Those interior shots that Karan posted have been released by Audi a few months ago.
They intend to have a few new innovations inside starting with the TT.

The dash shown above wont have separate A/C temperature knobs or controls, they are instead going to be integrated into the A/C vents.
The centre of the vent will be the rotary knob to adjust temperature so on & so forth, a few small but interesting things in short.

I also feel the gps screen in front of the steering could be a distraction but its just a hunch, wont find out unless we try do we ? Finally this car has lost a LOT of weight compared to the outgoing TT & so i expect the TTS with ~310ps (whereabouts) to give the SLK AMG a royal scare and i havent even gotten to the TT-RS yet ! LOL !

UPDATE

Hi all, Here are a few technical and performance related updates regarding the 2015 Audi TT. The 2015 Audi TT will be available with a varied engine lineup which will include a 180 HP 1.8-liter TFSI and a larger 220 HP 2.0-liter TFSI. Expect a TT-RS range-topping derivative with 380 HP (279 kW) coming from Audi's well-known turbocharged five-cylinder engine.

Most of the cabin has already been revealed earlier with the highlight being the massive 12.3-inch TFT display but the interior will host a new flat-bottomed steering wheel along with a slender dashboard, aluminum trim, S sport seats and an updated center console.

Audi releases a teaser of the 2015 TT.


Underpinning the new TT is the VW Group's MQB platform, the same as on the Audi A3, VW Golf and other company cars. Audi only shared the single rear-end photo of the car.
The interior is brand new and does away with the traditional instrument panel gauges, table like screen and a lot of the switchgear, gaining a huge customizable digital screen in front of the driver.

Every time I wonder how Audi will better those DRLs and the headlamps, and Audi has an answer. TT looks sharp and aggressive. One of the best looking sports car.
