But external design similarities are obvious.

I guess I confused the brezza with the Vitara spotted in the MSIL facility in this thread: http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/indian...-page-3-a.html

It was concluded that those reported pics ( New Vitara ) are not from the facility in India.

Please note the speculated Vitara Brezza is a sub 4 m car designed for India while the New Vitara is the one discussed in this thread.

Re: Next-generation Suzuki Vitara caught. EDIT: Now launched in Europe

This has impressive looks, and a very good road presence. Interiors remain a bit bland, however. Any chances of this being launched in India? Or the to be launched compact SUV getting this cars looks?

Re: Next-generation Suzuki Vitara caught. EDIT: Now launched in Europe

Suzuki's latest Vitara S vs Mazda CX-3,

Suzuki's boosterjet draws great reviews.

Verdict -
Quote:
the Vitara S is the better petrol crossover. It’s cheaper to buy and run thanks to its more efficient turbo engine, while you get more standard equipment for your money, too. The Vitara S also handles sweetly and is more practical than the Mazda, making it a better all-rounder.
Quote:
Mazda's 2.0 petrol here can’t match the Suzuki’s 1.4 turbo in terms of performance, fuel economy and CO2 emissions.

Suzuki's 1.4-litre turbo Vitara S is a better buy than the naturally aspirated 2.0 Mazda CX-3

Re: Next-generation Suzuki Vitara caught. EDIT: Now launched in Europe

The Vitara 2WD ( 1.6DDiS) gets reviewed in Italy. Apart from the noise and quality of plastics used in cabin it draws lots of positives.

Suzuki India never gets the exciting products of its Japanese counterpart to India. Not selling Swift Sports in India is a huge disappointment, I expected it.

Now, the Vitara! With a sensible pricing around the 18L mark, Vitara will be a run away hit in India. Come on Suzuki bring this to India.

Suzuki Vitara S gets favourable reviews in Australia as well. Also, as per the reviewer- Vitara is the best selling Suzuki in Australia.

Re: Next-generation Suzuki Vitara caught. EDIT: Now launched in Europe

Source: http://www.irishnews.com/lifestyle/m...-cross-515429/

This articles tells how under-rated the Suzuki vehicles in Irish market - whether it is Vitara or SCross.

"...why some cars which are less competent, less entertaining to drive, not as comfortable on our roads and offer poorer value for money snare more customers than Suzuki's excellent offerings.

Undeterred, Suzuki continues to hone its models, which is good news for those of us in the know.

Among the latest additions are a whizz-bang little petrol turbo engine installed beneath the Vitara's clamshell bonnet and an automatic gearbox for the diesel S-Cross. A new five-door hatchback, the Baleno, joins the line-up next month."
