Cars That Rock is a new 1hr long auto show on Discovery Turbo hosted by AC/DC frontman, Brian Johnson.

I'll be honest with you, this is no Clarksonian or Harrisian car show. Its just this one "rockstar" with long hair, a newsboy cap and a funny accent going on about his love of cars.

Still, I won't miss an episode from now on, cos the level of enthusiasm and passion this man has for automobiles is unreal. Add to that some special privileges only a rockstar will get.

I've so far watched two episodes, first was on Bugatti where he went in depth into the founding, the downfall and the resurrection of the brand and all the while driving some legendary Bugattis from the Type 35 to the Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse WRC. He also was allowed to 'sit' in Ettore's personal Royale and crank up Ettore's son, Jean's Type 57. Rockstar access!

The second episode was about Mini and inevitably he drove around in the original Cooper with none other than Paddy Hopkirk himself!

Can't wait for the next!

Could you let us know the timings it is broadcasted on Discovery Turbo as well? Wouldn't want to miss it either.
I remember Top Gear having him on the show and his 1928 Bentley named 'Thunder Guts'.

Yes, that's the air timings. Also Sunday at 10pm and quite a few re-runs if you browse through the channel schedule

Whatever happened to the Ferrari, Lambo and all which appeared on the trailer?

Strangely enough, no details of the show is available on the internet. Not even Wikipedia. Spooky!

Wednesday's episode featured Lamborghini, I think new episodes are aired on Wednesday nights although they have mentioned Sundays.

Also, I don't think there is going to be an episode featuring Ferrari, AFAIK there are only 2 more episodes left which will be on Bentley and Porsche.
