Re: My Maserati GranTurismo S

Wow man. I am green with envy! You are very lucky to own such a beast in your twenties. Must be a crazy drive. How much time do you spend just looking at her ?
She looks great. I saw my first Maserati Gran Turismo in New York in 2009, at the time I didn't know which car it was. About 6 months ago, right here in Gurgaon a grey Maserati Gran Turismo was visiting across the street at a friends place. It was as long as the Skoda Superb it was parked next to. Very sleek car.
Enjoy your car, Drive safe. Do update the thread from time to time.

Re: My Maserati GranTurismo S

Hey all, sorry about the reasonably large delay in posting anything on this thread. The remainder of the year has been super busy owing to work and travel commitments. Nevertheless, since the summer, I've made a few visual enhancements to the car. I've added a matt finish MC Sportline-like boot lid spoiler, that not only aids with downforce, but adds a more complete silhouette to the car. I've also tinted the headlights, fog lights and taillights according to UK regulations using SPI vision film (rather than having them sprayed, as that is not as easily reversible!). I plan to have the car professionally detailed around the summer which should get rid of any swirl marks and irregularities in the paintwork.

Here are some more photos and I may add a video or two real soon as well!

Re: My Maserati GranTurismo S

It may not be a great track-car, and it certainly isn't an outright sports car, but I'd take it over either, any day of the week, only because it looks gorgeous and sounds beautiful. A luxury Ferrari if you will.

Not really a fan of the all black treatment, but damn!

Congratulations Sir! You are now officially a baller!

Cheers!

Thank you, and yes, you nailed it! This car embodies elements of all the best bits of segment leaders. At the end of the day, you're left with an achingly beautiful Italian luxury sports grand tourer with enough speed, sound, looks, practicality and refinement to serve the purpose of joyous daily driving.

As for the all black treatment, the grainy photos I took on a cloudy day don't serve the tint complete justice. The absolutely clear headlight cluster and bright red rear light arrangement stood out too much in the past, so I wanted the look to be flushed with an overall black theme being served! Although, yes, to each his own
