I am somehow more impressed by the next gen Nissan then the lancer X.

The concept is tamed in the production version.

Are you telling me you put both in the same league or just comparing old GTR & new GTR design evolution compared to old Lancer & new?

Because GTR is a much higher league than the Lancer Evo..

I personally am not too found of the ricer look Evos and STis have, actually i cant really stand them, but GTR, now thats a beautiful imposing and gorgeous car..I just cant wait..

Why did Nissan ever stop making the R34. It is a phenomenal car.

it is because the car was particular designed keeping japan and us in mind and literally bit dust when it was not street legal in us so they had to sell in Europe and so the sales ended fast.
thats why they are making the r35 so that it can be made street legal.

the new skyline is starting to feel a lot more mature. is that a good thing?
NAHHHH!!!!
it doesnt come close to the old R34. in fact nothin will.......
this skyline looks like its made for those fat american and european blokes!! doesnt even come close to looking like a smart razor sharp sports car which is most certainly should be!!

Mean,........................

think its gonna be heavier!!! bigger even....

didn't like the ducts (the ones on the front bar to the intercooler ... replicated off the skyline GTR's...post 1993.....) and the bulges.....very Japanese - stereotypical !!!

by the looks of the intercooler...(not that big IMHO ... its never too big!!!!!! ) think it might be a bigger motor than the IX...(not a 2.4 litre + like the WRX's....thankfully not a little top mount like the WRX !!!!)

Or could be a brand new 2.5 litre + turbo...

Any updates on the motor????

Nissan GTR Scans Surface

Quote:
Whether the images are photochops or not, the Nissan GTR is going to be hot. The standard GTR will be priced at roughly $57k, the V SPEC $67k and the EVO version $94k. The standard GTR and V SPEC will hit the 480hp while the EVO reaches 530hp from the VQHRTT engine and weighs in at 220lbs less than the standard GTR. Oh, did we mention that the GTR is HOT
Nissan GTR Scans Surface

this car is surely drool worthy.
