New mitsubishi lancer and Nissan GT-R

http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/news/au...n_hatched.html

For buyers who can't stretch to the Evo X's £30,000-plus asking price, the 'warm' saloon will be badged Ralliart, and sold in UK showrooms

Holy Cow! Mitubishi, Japan are really quick at getting out new version of the Lancers and Evos. This really looks cool and the design gets away from the usual Lancer looks. This looks quite different and i am sure as other Lancers it will let the driving do the talking. Only thing which i worry is that it will never make it in to India. Does this Lancer replace the Cedia??

They have really got down to working on cleaning up and improving their productline.

The result will be evident 2-3 years down the line.

WOW!!! Great news for enthusiasts around the world.

Is that pic one of the standard new Lancer? If it is, they have absolutely nailed the front end design, its so aggresive!!!!

Love the design of the new Godzilla too, cant wait to read reviews.....

Precisely. They flip the grille a whole 180 degrees, and call it new

but the overall impact of both the cars is excellent.

Now I hope Nissan sheds some weight and mitsubishi gains more horses this time.

This article says . . .
"Now the Nissan Skyline GT-R is all set to scorch Indian roads in the drag race action due to kick off soon. !!"
wonder when . . . .
http://auto.indiatimes.com/quickies/1843848.cms

It does have some detailed info on the GT-R though.
Go through it and pray that they launch it officially in India.

Good Job

Lancer has certainly beat the Impreza in atleast one department, looks.
Good job Mitsubishi.
I like the rims particularly.

The writer has absolutely no idea what he is talking about, I see some of these lines have been plagerized directly from other articles and worse is this..

Quote:
The R34 GT-R clocked a time of 7.52 seconds to the quarter mile, for many years the unofficial record for a production car

Its not the quater mile time its the ring lap time and that too it was not the GTR but the Z tune(or another highly modified factory spec and not the sold spec)...which is not really a production build car, people confuse the 2..GTR was a little over 8 min for the lap time...

I pretty much stopped reading the article after that, but I cant wait...I have put the damn deposite with the wrong dealer...an Infiniti dealer thinking it would be a infiniti in the US, but its a nissan, so have to go back to a new dealer and do the same...will wait a year after its release to get one so that they can resolve all the 1st year issues..

All of them (the 32, 33, 34 GTR's did the ring in under 8 mins)....

The 33 being the slowest of the lot due to the excess weight..

The writer of this article has no clue to what he is writing and has never been in one before and decided to plagerise.....

coming back to the new GTR....didn't like the looks at all....(it's lost its brute, thugish looks and has soften donw with unneccessary curves..

I will wait for them to launch this so the price of the R34's drop and get the R34 instead....

The Lancer looks real good and it has to as the closest rival...subaru has started paying attention in that department with their new impreza's....

More importantly....i doubt that any of these will be available in india for a while....
