Audi plans Two Electric Vehicles by 2018

Audi CEO Rupert Stadler, in an interview with German daily Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung last week, announced the company’s plan to launch two fully electric vehicles by 2018. Apparently, one of the cars will be an electric sports car and the other will be a cross over with a range of 310 miles (500 kms) on one full charge. The crossover will likely serve as a competitor for the delayed Tesla Model X currently in the pipeline.
