I think this isn't a great idea, because any review is almost inconclusive since the final product may possibly turn out to be different. Sometimes enthusiasts may lose interest with such reviews.

IIRC LukeSkyWalker was part of the team that test-drove the Safari Storme before the Media drives.

But favourable reviews were not asked for. (Tata doesn't do such stuff.)

Back then itself he told them that (apart from the tailgate hydrolic strut IIRC) Single Din music system & lack of Multi-Info Display was a downer.

When I met the MD of Tata Motors, Karl Slym, & mentioned the same, he said they considered it but were already overdue with the launch since it was in the making for 42 months.

Even from this short off-road experience, then, there’s enough promise here to suggest that the GLC will be a very credible rival to the X3 and Q5. If anything, it feels a strong enough package to embarrass the GLE (the new name for ML), with as much off-road ability as many buyers will need, a plush enough cabin that’s scarcely any less practical and, one presumes, a tidy saving on purchase and running costs. Merc’s British dealers are about to get their wish, therefore, but quite a few customers could end up considering the GLC a bit of a result too.

It seems the Skoda Kodiaq SUV has been already reviewed in its 'prototype' form;

Even in the early pre-production of the test car looks anything solid composed, the materials are noticeably higher quality than previously.

The Kodiaq is the market launch in spring 2017 with three petrol (125 to 180 hp) and two diesels (150 and 190 hp). The two basic engines get front-wheel drive, with all other wheel is standard. In our test car, the 190-hp turbo diesel with standard 4x4 was built.

Silly trend - this is only to attract people with shiny stuff under wraps. How I wish reviewers would review cars when they are 6-9 years old? They obviously won't as they can't make money from magazines and youtube videos.

That's why forums like Team-BHP are unparalleled.There's just a wealth of information in the threads here.

2021 Mercedes-Benz C-Class prototype review

The big news for the C300e petrol and C300de diesel plug-in hybrid models is that their battery capacity has been almost doubled, from 13.5kWh to 25.4kWh. That means an electric-only range of more than 62 miles, says Früh. The C300 4Matic that we’re in has a 255bhp 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine with a 20bhp integrated starter-generator (ISG). It also has an overboost function that liberates an extra 27bhp for up to 30 seconds under full throttle. It gets a nine-speed automatic ’box and four-wheel drive as standard.

But the orange wrap/camouflage itself the cars were wearing was loud and flashy & showed that Skoda wanted to get attention.

I’m surprised that the Kushaq drive was not mentioned in this thread.

Question for GTO: What’s it like for automotive journalism post COVID? You should make a thread on this IMHO.
