Ford may sell off Bond machine

Aston Martin could soon be sold off, after owner Ford announced that it was looking at the future of the brand.

Ford said it was exploring strategic options for the luxury brand "with particular emphasis on a potential sale" of all or part of the unit.

A spokesman for the firm said it had already received a number of approaches for the brand from potential buyers.

"Focusing on a luxury brand...", what bull-s**t. Everyone knows that Ford is in serious financial trouble and will sell Aston just to stay afloat.

Hmm...I wonder if there is a possibility of Aston Martin being picked up by a Chinese firm? Like SAIC?

It would be nice if VW or BMW pick it puck, I doubt MB would want it, since they have never shown interest in any other high end car company ever...

Anyhow dont want those chinese to get it...

AM's are the most beautiful cars and if they went to the chinese forget it..
