Merc GL: the best SUV

Car & Driver tested five full sized SUVs..Navigator vs QX56 vs Esclade vs Q7 vs GL..And in the end the ranking is:

1. Mercedes Benz GL450
2. Audi Q7
3. Infiniti QX56
4. Cadillac Esclade
5. Lincoln Navigator

yeah read that article few days back, its a great car, but when the new X5 will come things will change...I still like it, but its not radical looking, i prefer the new X5, thought wouldnt mind owning the GL too, its sort of a home run for the MB, but havent seen too many of those in the land of the SUVs yet, as many as the Q7, which is 1.

As a full size SUV, the GL has received fantastic reviews. It really cant be compared to the ML since its a segment higher, and has none of the famed M-Class compromise.

GL & X5 are in seperate catagories..In the new X5's brochure they have listed thier competitors, GL is absent in it & ML is present..its shows that both are not in the same wagon....

For me GL is the #1
