It definitely looks good, but what engine does it use and is exactly based on which Skoda platform ??

Is it an SUV or an upgraded Octavia Combi !! Being Skoda everything looks apprx the same.

First let them get the FABIA here before even thinking about getting something like this down here... quite a looker though!

heheh...but once they bring in the Roomster, since they are going in for a global launch of that particular model, I doubt if they would want to undercut sales of the Roomster by bringing in a better looking 'Scout' !

As far as the Roomster is concerned, I am very 'underexcited' by its lines. They look assymetrical and I am sure of the Indian public 'underappreciating' such a feature. And that combined with an almost 'amby' like benign front...will underwhelm potential buyers even further.

'New Octavia' scout will smoke the CRV

The 'New Octavia' based Scout will smoke the CRV, Scorpio CRDi, and most definitely the Hyundai Tucson and probably the Endeavour.
