I'm very much impressed with the looks. Great!!!

But ain't this Ford concept getting launched in India too?? It can give the Accords and Lauras a run for their money if posted with a right price tag.

Ford Mondeo should be launched with the PSA-Ford developed 2.7 HDi V6 diesel engine in my humble opinion.

Ford should be the first one to launch this engine in the Indian market.

I do not like the wheels which have been frankly copied from Lamborghini. I am worried about their strenght and how they'll cope with the occasional potholes.

The slightly 'bulbous' nose is there to meet the requirements for pedestrian safety as required by moron Eurocrats who have to come up with such inane requirements to kill time.

Ford should bring the fully loaded version to India, give generous bumper-to-bumper warranty. This car will sell very well.

The new Mondeo is a stunner alright. Ford India has to avoid previous mistakes and get the pricing/marketing campaign right for the Mondeo. Not to mention the after sales network. For the Indian market, it also helps that it doesnt look like the current focus/fiesta.

she's a BEAUTY ......... can't wait to see her

it would be interesting to see the engine variants brought to india ... there are two diesel variants the mondeo has been offered with in the past in some countries

a 2.0 L 130ps engine and a 2.2 L 155ps engine

petro variants include a 2.5L 166hp and a 3.0L 223hp engine besides the 2.0 L 144hp engine, though i doubt the bigger engines will be brought here.

lets see if they pump out more horses out of the engines this time around ... diesel mondy will be interesting ... and good for sales.

The problem is not buying, coz its easy to find a low run petrol version for 6 lacs and I was almost sure on one . The bad part is its electrical reliability which is both pathetic and expensive , electric seats and music system ....one of the most common problem though the latter is not exactly a serious case but it still throws light on the overall issue. I still cant resist her looks though..simply too good to be true....ain't she ?

Thats how many cars these days seem to be coming out. I have seen fiats with large bumper portions.

May be it is deliberate, body does not get scratches in our cities, only bumpers need repainting.

will this MONDEO hit india ??? and if yes than hope they price it right. . .coz the old mondeo owners will not buy it . . . considering in india mondeo was a luxury car and suddenly this one looks like out of space

anywys personally i love this design, pumps fresh blood in Fords 'offerings'.
