Honda Fit face-lift expected in Brazil in mid 2017,

As well as the City, the Fit must be updated as well to follow until the fourth generation, expected to 2019 in Japan.
The model must finally receive the three-cylinder engine 1.0 i-VTEC Turbo Earth Dream up to 130 HP and maybe even a double-clutch box with seven or more gears. For now, the compact Honda-here in Brazil – goes from 1.5 i-VTEC FlexOne with up to 116 HP.

Cool! This makes the car look very swanky and also gets a wider stance [similar to the 2009 Honda City]

Hope this iteration of the Fit makes it to India's Jazz for the next update.

Looks like they have kept the wheelbase constant and that explains the large slightly ungainly overhangs, looks disproportionate in profile.

I've never been interested in Jazz thanks to it's mini MUV looks. But did I just read a 1.0 turbocharged engine and a dual clutch gearbox?

Sure, but don't hold your breath. I think there was a mistake in Google Portuguese to English translator.

Just remember that new Honda Civic turbo has a CVT gearbox. And we are talking about Jazz model and Honda India here.

Am sure @ current car's 3955mm length, they have got very little room to add any more length on this car. Going by the design of the bumpers its visually seeming 100+mm on the existing car. Can someone confirm this ?

The car certainly looks more appealing and squat profile is doing wonders to its looks.

The gen next Honda Fit is likely to get the 1.0l turbo engine.

the move to the supercharged tri-cylinder 1.0 will come only in the new generation of Honda, scheduled to come before 2019

More on the facelift Fit /Jazz for Brazil,

Inside, the car shows some equipment that will be added. Among them is the digital air conditioning (with only one zone), the same as the City, not available for the new WR-V . Another novelty is the different multimedia center, with buttons on the left. It is not the same device adopted by the Civic and we expect the system to gain compatibility with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The model will adopt the look inspired by the new Civic .

The new front grille in the shape of a chrome bar points to the Civic. Bluish headlights deliver daytime LED lights, but we can not see if the cut will change much, only the lenses seem more prominent under the guise.The bumpers will also have slightly more sporting and creased air intakes.

1.0L turbo makes sense. But what about dual clutch transmission? Is that confirmed? Does any Honda use DCT as of now?

Bit OT: But the soon to be launched Honda Africa Twin bike has a DCT gearbox variant. The company surely are masters at packaging.

However, to keep the costs down - I wouldn't think a DCT would be offered in the Jazz anytime soon.

Standard version of the Fit, after the improvement of the i-DCD oil and gas system with 1.5-liter engine, respectively, the output engine maximum horsepower 110, torque 13.7 kg.
Electric version -electric motor was 29.5 horsepower, torque 16.3 kg, In the JC08 fuel consumption test, every liter can run out of 37.2 km of amazing performance, compared to the previous 36.4 km per liter more outstanding.
