The new Audi Q5 e-tron , an electric SUV "connected" to the Porsche Macan spied testing. To debut in 2022.

The "big brother" of the aforementioned Q4 e-tron will finally become a reality. This is none other than the new Audi Q5 e-tron.

Development of the new Q5 e-tron is underway. Over the past few months there have been several sightings of specimens of evidence. A model that a priori was speculated that it would be baptized with the commercial denomination Audi Q6 e-tron but that, thanks to a leak,this possibility was ruled out.

As far as the powertrain is concerned, the Q5 e-tron range will be composed of rear-drive (rear-wheel drive) and quattro-drive engines. The maximum power will be around 368 kW (500 hp). It will also equip a new generation of batteries whose maximum capacity will far exceed the 100 kWh barrier. This is key, since this will allow you to set a range close to 700 kilometers.

Audi has announced special service plans and extended warranty options for e-tron and e-tron Sportback customers.



Audi is offering service plans ranging from 2 years to 5 years. Additionally, Comprehensive Service Plans for either 4 years or 5 years will be available. These cover the cost of service, periodic maintenance of the brakes and suspension as well as extended warranty.

The cars will come with a standard warranty of 2 years and a High Voltage Battery warranty of 8 years / 1,60,000 km. Customers will be offered two extended warranty plans - 2+2 years and 2+3 years.

The Audi e-tron will be offered in two variants - e-tron 50 and e-tron 55. The e-tron Sportback will be available in the e-tron 55 trim only.

The Audi e-tron 50 draws power from a 71 kW battery and has a claimed range of 264 - 379 km (WLTP combined). It develops 308 BHP and 540 Nm. The vehicle comes with an 11 kW AC home charger and is capable of up to 150 kW DC charging.

The Audi e-tron 55 and the Audi e-tron Sportback 55 draw power from a 95 kW battery and have a claimed range of 359 - 484 km (WLTP combined). Both these cars produce 402 BHP and 664 Nm.

Audi to offer 2 complimentary chargers with the Audi e-tron.

- Complimentary fixed charging installation at home and
- A portable charger for all Audi e-tron customers in 2021.
