Default Spied: 2018 Ford Endeavour (Everest) Facelift

Mod Note: Our Endeavour Facelift Report has been taken live at this link (2019 Ford Endeavour Facelift : Official Review). Please continue the discussion over on the new thread. Thanks!

The 2018 Ford Everest (Endeavour in India) facelift has been spotted doing the testing rounds for the very first time, in Australia.

The Endeavour facelift was accompanied by a 2018 Ford Ranger pick-up truck.

The spyshots show the front of the SUV being fully covered, indicating changes to the front looks - bonnet, grille, front bumper, air dam and wheel arches. The facelift could get slightly tweaked headlamp sections and revised foglamp sections as well.

Expect Ford to launch the Endeavour facelift in India sometime late next year.

Please don't ruin it; the Endeavour's face is very handsome. I hope they don't bring any unwelcome changes.

They should try to make the rear end look better. Sadly, in these pics, there is no camo at the back & thus, I don't think we'll see any changes there.

Is it me or does anyone else also think that it is too early to launch a facelifted version of a car that was launched a few months back?

It was launched internationally in mid 2015. So a facelift for 2018 makes sense.

Might be launched in India only be the end of next year, if the numbers remain strong for Ford.

Going by the grapevine and the article from car advice, the Ranger/Everest platform will take front end design cues from the F150. Thats a pretty good place to look for butch inspiration! And the powertain of the 2018 model yr is expected to undergo changes

What's the expected launch date? Could it be during the auto expo or at least 2018 Q2?

Should I wait for it or go ahead with current endeavour?

Dont think you should wait for the facelift. It has not been spotted testing in India so I think its at least an year away at the bare minimum.

A facelift version is welcome but they should not modify the shape.
Some things which need to be changed / introduced.
1. Start / stop button
2. Navigation in all models
3. Better AT tyres.
4. Better head lights.
5. TPMS with readout of each tyre and not just alarm.

Interesting - A biker friend yesterday said he spotted the new Endeavour (camouflaged, including the interiors!) along with a hatchback (camouflaged as well) bearing red TN temporary plates.
This was during the heavy downpour and somewhere in Bannerghatta road.

Unfortunately, he did not click a picture.
I hope they launch the new Endy by Auto Expo atleast.
What do you think might be the hatchback? A new variant of Figo or a new hatchback?

New Endeavour hasnt been revealed globally yet, AutoExpo is just about 3 months away.

Its unlikely Ford will 'launch' the new(facelift) Endeavour @ Auto Expo.

The Ford F150 is going to get the newly developed 3.0 V6 Powerstroke diesel with the 10 speed auto box in the USA in 2018. The motor is supposed to be similar to the one used in Land Rover, which was developed by Ford. Hopefully the Endeavour and Ranger will get the drive train combo within the next 2 years.

If this is indeed the final result, I don't like it. The Ecosport went from looking butch to looking more sharp and elegant(and I like it that way). However, with the new grill, the Endeavour has gone from looking butch to looking less butch.
