Is it spelt Toyota B R V by any chance?

Around 4.3m length and 7 seats, can easily sit below the Crysta and occupy the space vacated by the old Innova. This can potentially kill Creta and others in the segment if Toyota plays its cards well.

The vehicle looks pretty good, and decently specc'd as well, but why is it being discussed on an indian automotive forum? Toyota clearly has no plans to sell it in India. Large manufacturers like Toyota launch several models in several countries regularly, same with plenty of other manufacturers. Then why is this car special? Discussing the new Tesla or something that is not relevant to indian scenario but is revolutionary for the car industry as a whole, is fine. This vehicle doesnt seem like it IMO.

This so-called SUV looks more like Crysta mated with a BRV. What the hell was Toyota's designing team was smoking!

It is anticipated and rumored that this new generation Toyota Rush will be launched in India in 2018 and it is very likely that the same will be displayed in the Delhi Auto Expo 2018 along-with the Toyota Vios and Yaris.

At first glance it looked like a jacked-up previous gen Innova, with Honda BRV styling, alloy wheels, steering wheel, and 200mm GC. Even the Engine has the a similar output of ~100Bhp as the previous gen Innova.

But of course it isn't.

Why is Toyota not seriously purusing a leader position in the Indian market? Why not make the Etios cars a lot more gorgeous using the people who worked on the Crysta and Fortuner? Why not lauch a reliable 10-15L SUV from from its international porfoilio? Heck, even the previous gen Rush would've done well here with some upgrades.

But, all said, if they do decide to launch this new Rush here at a good price point, then I feel India will lap it up.
