re: Ford reveals the Bullitt Mustang

What a fitting tribute to the original car. Though vastly powerful, I like the fact that it comes only in a manual transmission.

Trivia: Steve McQueen tried for a long time to get his hands on one of the two original cars used in the movie, but failed. The current car was acquired by a guy from his father. The son contacted Ford in 2013 and got it worked up for the 50th anniversary of the Buillitt.

They don't make 'em like that anymore!

New one might be a great looking car, but, doesn't hold a candle to the original. The oldie still exudes 'raw' power! New one to me, looks like a cute kitten, in comparison.

It is a limited edition. And manual shift only I guess.

As a special-edition model due out this summer – the all-new Mustang Bullitt is equipped with a manual transmission, and the gear shifter features a white cue ball shift knob as a nod to the original

What Karan meant was that Ford should at least offer the regular Mustang (on sale in India) with a manual gearbox.
