^ Its said that FCA has approved production of this new sports car in the name of the “6C.”

ALFA 6C CONFIRMED. There is a bunch of people who are so enthusiastic about secrets and about projects that they can not shut their mouth (we understand that and appreciate this). From an absolute trustworthy and legit source we were informed that the Alfa Romeo 6C will be a part of the Alfa Romeo product line. The production is planned for early 2020 and the car will be shown probably this or next year on some auto show. Let’s hope this is true, we know this person that is very deep into the decisions of the management of Alfa Romeo and all he said in the past became reality.

Interesting!

My guess is that it will be powered by the Giulia Quadrifoglio's stonking turbocharged BV6, supplemented by electric motors powering the front axle.

And being an Alfa, it should be a good looker. Let's hope that Alfa does not give it the ridiculous bug-eyed headlights on the 4C.

Also, it's about time the Italian marque gives us a classic front/mid engined convertible/roadster. Wouldn't you love a Fiat 124 Abarth based Alfa convertible?
