TVR resurrected by Gordon Murray & Cosworth

Britain's best kept secret - TVR, is back! Having shuttered years ago, TVR has been resurrected, by none other than the Gordan Murray (McLaren F1 fame) and Cosworth.

Behold the all-new TVR Griffith, designed by Gordon Murray and powered by a Cosworth-tuned naturally aspirated 5L V8: https://www.topgear.com/car-news/big...k-tvr-griffith

In an ideal world, I would have lined up for this car!

EDIT: included a reference to a commentary about TVR from an earlier thread of mine, for additional context

Re: TVR resurrected by Gordon Murray & Cosworth

Looks hot but the question is whether there is demand for this car from more than a few enthusiasts.

MG which was a popular brand is struggling to revive its brand after a hiatus of 10 year. TVR was a niche brand which made cars before major safety and environmental legislation came in. The Russian owner had no clue and not strategy to face this.

The only new successful sports car brand has been McLaren but it had a huge design infrastructure to back it. It also learnt a lot from Mercedes in its early collaboration. Aston Martin now has good leadership and a strong technological alliance with Mercedes

Good luck TVR- it needs an automotive godfather to survive!
