The adverts of the car featuring the London Eye & Hoover Dam were rather bizarre. The first being electricity asking Porsche to take it out on the road and the second, Porsche's reply to it.

Average acceleration times documented on the “Fully Charged” YouTube channel were just under 10 seconds. The difference between the fastest and the slowest attempts was just 0.8 seconds.

All-electric Porsche Taycan interiors teased

Porsche has given a sneak peek inside the Taycan ahead of the electric sportscar’s international debut at the 2019 Frankfurt motor show which will be held from September 12-22, 2019.

The firm has released a single image showing a glimpse of a dashboard as part of confirmation that Taycan's infotainment system will feature a fully integrated version of the Apple Music streaming service.

The Taycan, Porsche's first production electric car, is due to be revealed in early September before going on display at the Frankfurt motor show.

The image shows a portion of the Taycan's dashboard, which appears to take cues from the firm's other models but have a slightly cleaner design. It shows a steering wheel similar in design to that of the current 911, a digital driver-information display and an infotainment screen built into the dashboard. There's also a pop-up analogue clock on top of the dashboard.

The Apple Music deal means subscribers to that service can play any song or playlist directly through the infotainment system by using its integrated internet data streaming feature. The Taycan is the first car to feature full Apple Music integration, and it will offer voice control and exclusive Porsche playlists. The firm says Taycan buyers will be given a free six-month subscription to Apple Music. The Taycan will also feature Apple CarPlay integration.

New Porsche Taycan: electric four-door's interior revealed.

The Tesla Model S rival's cabin takes the brand's design and technology to a new level. Based around up to four digital displays, including a curved, freestanding 16.8in configurable driver's display.







It’s filled with five screens, one of which is solely for the passenger, and the direction of the air flowing from the vents is controlled electronically and not by hand.

The upper and lower sections of the dashboard stretch across the entire width of the vehicle in the shape of a wing. A central 10.9-inch infotainment display and an optional passenger display are combined to form an integrated glass band in a black-panel look, thereby blending in visually with the interior.

For the first time, front passengers in the Taycan have the option of their own touch display, allowing them to easily alter settings without distracting the driver.

Screens, screens and more screens. Looks ridiculous IMO.
Sometimes you just want to press a button and be done with it rather than looking at screens all around to find that small little tab.

Doing away with hard buttons for basic car functions is one of the worst idea car manufactures are adopting.
