Honda readies the world’s fastest Lawnmower Four years ago, the Japanese motor giant impressed both gearheads and gardeners when it dropped a 109-horsepower Honda VTR motorcycle engine into a lawnmower,
The Mean Mower, as Honda called it, achieved an average speed of 116.57 mph & set the Guinness World record for being the fastest lawnmower in the world.
But some time later a team from Norway clocked an astonishing speed of 133.57 mph using a modified Viking T5 lawnmower with a Corvette V8 engine inside.
Honda is now ready to strike back with the Honda Mean Mower mk2, which will be powered by a 1,000-cc, 190-horsepower engine borrowed from Honda’s SP1 Fireblade sports bike.
At under 200 kgs (dry), the Honda Mean Mower Mk2 will be able to do 0-60 mph in under 3 seconds.
Let’s see how high the bar is set this time by Honda.
