the lp640 anyday not sure of the technical detials though heard there quite similiar yeat the lp640 has much more road presence which somone would expect while sheelin out so much cash

Definetly the lambo for me , ferraris have stopped being beautiful after the ugly 612 , i expected a better looking ferrari & besides that the 599 is a GT car & not a hardcore supercar , in a supercar i want visual drama , gullwing doors & the lambo has that - no contest !

Having seen both cars in person,the LP640 looks heaps better,has better specs than the 599,and the 640 is far more exclusive...
infact to lay your hands on the 640 there is over a year's wait here,while the 599 is available almost immediately...
I'd happily spend the extra dough and buy the Lamborghini.

As the great Frank Sinatra said " You buy a Ferrari when you want to be some one. You buy a Lamborghini when you are some one"

So you have the porsche, have bought the LP640 and intend to buy the F430 Scuderia. So where do you belong my friend.

PS : I understand both the Lp and 430 are in different segments and not comparable

purple lambo ? odd colour choice , blue works well , lambo had a special edition murcie in blue

Nope, not odd at all. If my memory serves me right , the Diablo SV was in purple and it looked fantastic.

The Special Edition was the 40th Anniversary Edition.

I dropped the 430 idea. The car is being replaced by the 480 next year. Heading for the R8 now.

I'd go with the 599.I love its looks & if it can growl like a typical Ferrari,then I'd fall in love with it all over again.
