Not sure if I like the looks of this one. A Golf R is faster and subtler, a Honda Civic Type R is bonkers and faster.

The Koreans have come a long way in just 2 decades and the only thing they now need to check off the to-do list is "fun to drive cars". They sure are moving in that direction.

Even the Kia Stinger has received good reviews from enthusiasts:

Who would have thought? A fun to drive Kia?

For sure and Kia has seen an even bigger transformation than Hyundai.

Not all enthusiasts have deep pockets. Kia Stinger V6 Turbo is cheaper than a Merc C200 with a 2.0 liter turbo four with no major compromises either in equipment or the drive. No wonder then its revered by enthusiasts and the press.

it is an interesting power train, it has a 2.0L in-line 4-cylinder turbocharger engine and a lineup of two grades with a maximum output of 250ps/353Nm and 275ps/378Nm.

The linear performance is 6.1 seconds/5.8 seconds, and the maximum speed is adjusted at 250km/h.

Hyundai's i30 Sedan N Spied:

Hyundai’s new go-fast four-door has dropped its disguise, ahead of an imminent reveal launch late in 2021.

Quote:
Official mechanical details have yet to be announced, though it's all but confirmed it will be powered by the same 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine as the related i30 N hatch and Kona N SUV.

Expect outputs to mirror the other cars' 206kW and 392Nm, with the possibility for the Kona's 213kW overboost function.
