Images of the gangsta mobile from Kia have been released, bearing strong resemblance to its related cousin, the Hyundai Palisade - which interestingly seems inspired by the Escalade.



The Telluride is a 8 seater SUV, and is powered by a 3.8 litre V6 engine turning out 217kW of power at 6000rom, and 355Nm of torque at 5200rpm.

Yet another case where the Kia looks far better than the equivalent Hyundai - Pallisade looks confused in comparison.

Infact, it's the Kia that reminds me of the Escalade with that no nonsense front end!

Its a Cadillac with BMW interiors but with the reliability, warranty and service costs of a Hyundai . It looks like something out of a teambhp thread!

Whoa! That is one terrific looking SUV. If you were to cover the badge, I would bet a 1000 bucks that it's an American SUV.

Despite the brand baggage (Kia has always been perceived as Hyundai's poor cousin in the States), I think this has the potential to outsell its uglier Hyundai sibling.

This is beauty. Also, I read somewhere that if Kia decides to bring this to India, it will compete against the Fortuner and the Endeavour!

This car has the potential to sell in good numbers in India if they introduce it at the right price point i.e., around the price of Fortuner(Not above it). It is HUGE with good features as well as stunning looks & should give Endy & Fortuner a run for their money!

This is a size bigger than Fortuner/Endeavour and is targeted for US crowd and guess it wont be coming to India anytime soon.

I was following the Kia Telluride since it was nominated for world car. Since then it has gained tremendous following. It has won the world car of the year and gained tremendous momentum. Kia expected to sell 60000 but the demand outstrips the supply.
